Best of Britain: the sky’s the limit
Filed under: time news, weather news — JaShong King @ 11:20 am

The sky's the limit behind many of this week's Best of Britain photos, from the future of warfare in a newly unveiled unmanned combat drone to Spanish fans cheering their World Cup win in Trafalgar Square, as well as the launch of a bicycle sharing program, in the hopes of reducing overcrowding on London's streets.

Also included are photos of the effects of a heat wave on Hyde Park, a Scottish Open player trying to dig himself out of a rough spot, a F1 Grand Prix fan, and toy cows at the Yorkshire agricultural show.

A prototype unmanned combat aircraft, called Taranis, is seen in this undated handout photograph received in London on July 14, 2010. The prototype demonstrator, unveiled by the Ministry of Defence (MoD), will test the possibility of developing an autonomous stealthy Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle (UCAV) that could strike targets at long range, and be under the control of military crews on the ground.
